ESL’s GUI development tool of choice is Microsoft Visual Basic. As individuals, ESL’s staff have been developing solutions using Visual Basic since it’s debut in 1991. Many of ESL’s resources are Microsoft Certified Professionals and have extensive experience using Visual Basic as a GUI development tool, and either SQL Server and Sybase as the database engine. These skills have been used on a range of financial applications (trading systems, static databases, prime brokerage, collateral management, downsizing and system integration).
