VR Ticket brings a powerful new dimension to online seat booking, extending existing ticket booking systems and web sites to include dynamic 3D virtual reality views from every seat.

VR Ticket’s viewer is modelled as a replica of each venue interior. A user-friendly interface displays a 2D plan of the venue with a 3D virtual reality view alongside it. Moving across the 2D plan instantly updates the 3D environment, allowing the user to zoom and fly through it. The user can check accessibility of seats in relation to columns, exits, disabled access, toilets and bars.

VR Ticket allows customers to pre-order merchandising and interval drinks. Credit and debit card bookings are validated through an optional secure e-payments module. Users can pay in most currencies as VR Ticket is a multi-currency, multi-lingual solution.

>> VR Ticket Features:

>> 3D virtual reality views across the Internet

>> Can be added to existing web sites or run standalone

>> Optional secure e-payments module

>> Multi-currency, multi-lingual solution

>> Automated ‘behind the scenes’ business processes and workflows

>> Merchandise and interval drinks modules

>> Extend Existing Web Sites To Include Virtual Reality

Existing online ticket booking systems and web sites can be enhanced to include VR Ticket's 3D viewer, or the system can be run as a completely standalone web site. The user interface to VR Ticket can be tailored to each customer's individual requirements, allowing the VR Ticket engine to power existing web sites while maintaining their look and feel.

>> Simple To Use

A user-friendly interface displays a 2D plan of the theatre with a 3D virtual reality view of the venue alongside it. Users can select a specific seat in the 2D layout and pan around to see the view of the stage and the general line of sight from that seat in the 3D window. Moving a mouse across the 2D seating plan instantly updates the 3D virtual reality environment, allowing the user to zoom in and out and fly through the theatre.

>> Spend, Spend, Spend

VR Ticket can be configured to allow customers to pre-order interval drinks, programmes, merchandise and gift vouchers to maximise their pre-visit spend and decrease queuing time once at the venue. Users do not need to book seats in order to buy merchandise. VR Ticket has a simple administration tool that can be configured to manage all available merchandise and bar products, allowing the customer to edit and amend their online product offerings quickly and easily, changing prices and adding and deleting items with instant effect.

>> Two New Ways To Buy Tickets!

VR Ticket provides the public with two new ways to buy tickets, as it is available as a kiosk system or as an Internet solution.

Kiosk versions of VR Ticket can be located within theatres to run while the venue is open, and could increase revenue as users can make bookings while the box office is closed. Kiosks could also be installed in public areas such as airports, railway stations and hotels and would provide 24 hour booking access. Networked kiosks set up within a ticket agency could manage that company’s seat allocations on a central system, with immediate updates.

The Internet solution enhances a theatre’s existing web site by bringing the venue to life and providing a dynamic virtual reality experience to users. As such, VR Ticket is a powerful marketing tool and will create a lasting impression on those who use it.
